In Memory of Alan Rickman

Alan Rickman was without question one of my most favorite actors of all time. His untimely death was a shock and I felt the loss keenly. I am also deeply grateful for all the joy he has given me - from his stealing-the-show performance as the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves to his heartful portrayal of Col. Brandon in Sense and Sensibility to the glorious silliness that was Galaxy Quest (to name a few) - I have loved all of them. But perhaps above all, he was Professor Severus Snape. He will so be missed.
